October 21st, Whitney Jones will be performing at The Nash with Frank Valdes' Septet. This night will be a celebration of the music of NY Puerto Rican composers and band leaders such as , Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Machito and, also, the music of Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Herbie Hancock.

Valdes is a 26-year veteran of music performance who performs and tours with the Machito Orchestra, The Richie Cecere Orchestra, The Shirelles, The Dalton Gang and Donna Summers.
